He worked then as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in al-Hasakah, in addition to his work in engineering facilities design."AbdulNour" moved to work on the St.Ephrem Committee in late 2018, he worked as a (Distribution Administrator) in the Food Baskets Distribution project. After that, He became the director of intervention, consisting of five projects, including: (Distribution of food baskets, distribution of nutrients (dates biscuits), providing materials for the treatment of Moderate malnutrition, and a voucher program for pregnant women, breastfeeding women and school dropout students). This was in each of: Al-Hasakeh, Deir Al-Zor, and Al-Raqqa, in addition to 4 camps included in these governorates."AbdulNour" proved his merit, so he became the manager of the protection project in (Al-Malikiyah, and Al-Houl camp), he is also responsible for the Protection Section of the St.Ephrem Committee."AbdulNour" was grateful for what the Committee had presented and express: "I thank the St.Ephrem Committee that gave me the opportunity to express my love for giving, working and helping people, as well as the skills and abilities I have developed through working in several areas within the Committee".In our turn, we thank "Elie" for his Clear diligence and fatigue, and his insistence to leave a mark in the humanitarian sphere.

  • Success story of the child "Omar Alsalama"…The pillar of the true peace in this world is our children because they are the pillar of future and life.And one of treatment's trips that its title was success, the trip of 15 -month-old "Omar Alsalama" child.Omar had Down syndrome, which is a gene problem that occurs in an early stage of birth, which requires special health care for these cases, which Omar lacked due to the death of the head of the family and the poor social situation that the mother lives in, in a rented house.Omar took refuge in the "Vitamin 4" Center in Deir Ezzor, which was implemented by the St.Ephram Patriarchal Development Committee, in cooperation with (UNICEF), to receive primary health care as a result of the discovery of his severe malnutrition (SAM), due to his dependence on Industrialism breastfeeding in his food, where his weight was (6.5 kg), length (71 cm), and the MUAC (11,9).The child was included in the program for the treatment of malnutrition (SAM), and he was tested for the appetite and it was good, as was given a Maxillin syrup, and therapeutic peanut butter (NUT), in addition to the mother receiving an individual counseling session on how to give medicines.A weekly visit schedule had been set up for Omar, and today, on his eleventh visit, he has moved from a severe acute malnutrition situation (SAM) to a situation of moderate acute malnutrition (MAM), weight (7,4 kg), length (73 cm), and MUAC (12,8).)We continue to follow Omar’s condition until he is recovering, hoping for the health and well-being of all our children.

  • There is nothing more expensive than time, When man gives part of his time and his effort, he is among those who seek the good of society and humanity.Eyad Younan (born 1974, graduate of the Teacher Development Institute, English Language Department), was one of the influential people in St.Ephrem Committee, with a sense of responsibility which is one of the most important pillars of high human messages and he started his work in 2016.After years of field work in the road projects, irrigation canals, oil fields and experience in Construction and topographic work, Eyad moved to the St.Ephrem Committee in Al Hasakah with its initial launch, and contributed to the establishment of a children's hope playground.Then He moved to work as a logistician in the "All of us and everywhere" project, which was considered a qualitative start to the work of the committee later, as the motive for the tender was essentially for Eyad to build his career with the Committee. And he was always ready to volunteer to support and assist any project within the Committee without hesitation.After that, the Committee started a project to distribute healthy and food baskets in each of Ain Issa camp, and the area of Tal Tamr and its countryside, Eyad was at this time an administrative assistant, until he took over the entire project administration during its renewal. The work expanded to include the camps of Ein Issa, Mabrouka, Al-Arisha, Rouge, Nayrouz, Abu Khashab, Al-Houl, and the shelters for IDPs from the Ras Al-Ain region and its countryside in Hasaka. The title of this time stage of Eyad's work with the Commttee was to work on a high amount of giving, and good love.Eyad, in turn, expressed the influence of the St.Ephrem Committee and the imprint it left during his life: " Through the committee, we learned to work as a team, to look for positives, and to try to fix the negatives. We have also learned that true happiness lies in the constant giving and effort to put a smile on a face of a needy, sick, child or displaced person in a camp.On my part, I thank St.Ephrem Committee, with all its cadres, because it allowed me to express myself practically and be in the field of giving. I especially thank Father (Gabriel Khajou) and MR. Saeed Oussi for their confidence and giving me many opportunities in the work of the committee.From all of us, the family of St.Ephrem Committee: "thank you, Eyad, for the valuable human behavior, affiliation, love, and skills you provided during the past years.

  • Make good, because that is the only thing that doesn't die when you are absent.This is what the St.Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee, Al-Jazeera and Euphrates Office always seeks to do, planting men and generations to follow to reap the benefits of this work for the next 100 years.As always, the committees "vitamin 4" team motto is to love what it does to succeed, so the team's achievements and projects are not limited to the nutritional field, but have exceeded it to all available cases and places.The 11-month-old child "Samira Salem", was one of the cases on which the "vitamin 4" team focused in (Al-Hol) camp in Al-Hasakah, in cooperation with "UNICEF", The child was hit by a sandfly pinch and suffered from the presence of a (lachmania) on her face, She was in a deplorable state because at that time she was a third month.The situation of the girl child has worsened considerably, which prompted a volunteer in the "vitamin 4" team to follow up the situation of the girl child from the beginning in coordination with the parties concerned, Where he is informed The World Health Organization about the child's condition, which in turn sent its own mobile team specialized in such cases, And they gave the girl the necessary treatment, including periodic vaccinations and health follow-up, until she recovered."From Compassion Into Action" will always be our motto for hard work, because the source of success and the blessing of life are good work.
