With support from the Syria Humanitarian Fund (SHF), the Jazira and Euphrates Office of the St. Ephrem Syriac Patriarchal Development Committee (EPDC) has launched an emergency rehabilitation project for water supply systems.

This initiative aims to restore access to clean water for the most vulnerable communities in Al-Hasakah Governorate, affected by war, displacement, and natural disasters.

The project involves rehabilitating six wells that serve a total of 9,650 people, distributed across the following villages:

•Jal Agha Village: Located in the Al-Jawadiyah area of rural Al-Malikiyah, the well serves 2,700 people.

• Um Rajim Village: Located in the Al-Jawadiyah area of rural Al-Malikiyah, the well serves 1,500 people.

• Garkhok Village: Located in the Al-Jawadiyah area of rural Al-Malikiyah, the well serves 850 people.

•Tel Kojer Village: Located in the Al-Yarubiyah area, the well serves 2,500 people.

• Ahimer Al-Dokhat Village: Located in the Tel Hamis area of rural Qamishli, the well serves 450 people.

• Khwytleh Al-Jawalah Village: Located in the Tel Hamis area of rural Qamishli, the well serves 1,650 people.

This intervention reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting sustainable projects that ensure access to clean and safe water.
