The refugees's camps situation continue to deterioration due to the bad circumstances that they're going through, like food and health care shortage.
So as an attempt to minimize physical damages, a medical and feeding station placed there to prevent malnutrition between children, pregnant women and nursing mothers, within "AlHol" camp in Alhassakah city, where these stations belong to several organizations. St.Ephrem Patriarchal mobile team – Al Jazeera and Euphrates office, the implementer of Vitamin project, in co-operation with "UNICEF" has proceed the activity that concern malnutrition cases. One of the cases which appeared during distribution and monitoring rounds between the camps was a little boy "yousef".
The team tried to explain the child situation for his parents, while they are doing the initial actions which about measuring the "MUAC", weight and height.
The child was clear, he got no health problems, so they took an action immediately and registered him in the nutrition program "SFP", he agreed to the treatment so they gave him enough amount which will be enough until the next visit.
They ensured to provide the mother with "Mmp" powder, they instructed her also about how to give"yousef" his "plumpy Sup" does, and the nutrition nurse urge her privately about breastfeeding importance and benefits.
During the next visit, Yousef's health has clearly improved, surely because his parents followed the instructions, so they gave him an extra amount of the "Plumpy Sup" treatment. At the last visit and after doing all the procedures; Z.SCOUR, MUAC, and weighing, the child was completely recovered, and he took an enough amount of the "Plumppy Doz" which will be enough for a month.
Our happiness for that was not less than his parents, for giving that child the right to be completely healthy.
