That's how the 1-year-and-8-months-old little "Safia" went off with a good health with the help of "Vitamin 4" mobile team which implemented by St.Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee , Al-Jazeera and Euphrates Office, in cooperation with "UNICEF" at (Al-Hol camp).
"Safia" was diagnosed with a case of acute malnutrition "SAM" according to the malnutrition criteria by measuring the "MUAC" in addition to calf elevation and her poor health status. She was moved to the hospital for appropriate treatment ,where she was followed up by one of Vitamin 4 center nurses and provided with peanut butter(NUT), Where she was followed up with treatment and after three reviews she entered to a case of moderate malnutrition "MAM" and was given complementary peanut butter(SUP) Supported by "WFP" and micronutrients and follow-up on a monthly basis with protective peanut butter, to go off healthy after that.
